(1)Civic Engagement (Voter Education)
United Somali Alliance wants Somali Youth to learn about the power of voting and community organization.

(2)Somali Youth Summer program (SYSP)
A 8-Week Summer Program that will be held from July 6-August 30th in a location TBA (Madison Park, O'Bryant, Johnson, or Tobin), focusing on High School Age Somali adolescents & young adults. This program will focus primarily on Sports & Fitness. The program will provide a Basketball, Soccer, and Track & Field program. Also included in the program is inclusion of education (religion, culture, and current affairs) within the program.

Somali Independence Day: Saturday June 27th, 2009 12pm-7pm @ Tobin Center
Somali Fun Day: Saturday January 16th, 2010 2pm-9pm @ Tobin Center

Planning to train Track & Field Athletes - in the near future with a better developed plan. Summer 2009 Program went well, hoping Summer 2010 goes even better.
